Web Desk — Pakistani cricket team’s batting consultant Matthew Hayden appreciates Pakistani players association with Islam.

The former Australian player says what he didn’t see in Australia what he saw in the Pakistani team’s dressing room.

In a message, Hayden says Pakistani players have immense love for religion and it is nice to see them saying prayers regularly.

According to Hayden, language is a barrier but instead of cricketing techniques, he is focussing on players’ mindset. He further said that language is not a must for someone to learn cricket.

Hayden said Babar Azam was a strong captain and that senior players like Shoab Malik and Muhammad Hafeez were also sharing their experiences with the youngsters.

Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ramiz Raja appointed Matthew Hayden as batting consultant of the Pakistan Cricket Team for the T20 World Cup 2021. Saqlain Mushtaq is the head coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team.
