Web Desk — Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s fiery speeches have added fuel to the already burning political scenario before the February 8 general elections inching closer. Bilawal Bhutto is generously targeting political rivals, especially the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
The PML-N first ignored the PPP Chairman’s fiery rhetoric but now Uzma Bukhari and Marriyum Aurangzeb have chosen to pay back the same coin, likening the 35-year-old to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.
Throughout his speeches, Bilawal has been targeting the PML-N leadership, particularly Nawaz Sharif. Bilawal is trying to convince the people that Nawaz would harm the country via his “habitual revenge politics” in case he comes to power again.
Uzma Bukhari while talking to Geo Pakistan, said she could only pray for Bilawal given the speed with which he was following the PTI founder. She asked what development Bilawal was bringing to Punjab from Sindh?
PML-N Information Secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb also responded to Bilawal by advising him to stay civil and talk about his party’s performance instead of being personal with Nawaz Sharif.
“He is roaming around Lahore as a newcomer, maybe he hasn’t seen the [Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute] PKLI. He has not seen the universities, Danish schools,” She added.
The former information minister said Bilawal was an equal participant in the decision taken by the PDM government. The PDM government took joint decisions with all parties in the coalition.
