EX-CJP Saqib Nisar Audio: Is It Real .. ?

Web Desk — Former chief justice Supreme Court, Justice Saqib Nisar has denied the authenticity of the audio clip attributed to him saying he never directed subbordinate judges for Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz sentences.

Saqib Nisar was reacting to a recentely leaked audio clip in which he (allegedly Saqib Nisar) could be heard saying that in order to make space for Imran Khan in politics, Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz would have to be punished.

In the same audio clip, the man admitted that though there were no cases against MaryamNawaz but should would also be punished.

Nisar, talking to a news channel, refused to accept that it was his voice, saying that the “audio clip is being falsely associated with him.”

When asked if he would take legal action against the audio clip being associated with him, Nisar said he is thinking about “which legal option to go with.”
