The point of entry in Cadet College Hasan Abdal is Class O-Level only, however, a few vacancies occur in Class XI.
These vacancies are filled on the basis of the result of written examination, interview, and medical test.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates having 80% marks in the final matric examination can apply for the F.Sc and those who secured at least 6A in O-level can apply for the A-level to appear in the written test.
Written Examination:
The written examination will be held in the Cadet College Hasan Abdal in the end of October. Please note that is no separate exam center for the admission test. The test is based on these subjects;
English: 1 hour 30 Min
Maths or Bio: 1 hour 30 Min
Chemistry or Physics: 2 hours

Interview/Medical Text for Cadet College Hasan Abdal Admission 1st Year 2022:
All candidates who pass the written test will be called for interview and medical test.

Hasan Abdal Cadet College Prospectus:
Prospectus for the Cadet College Hasan Abdal can be obtained by hand against Rs.500.- or by post against Rs.600/-. For overseas Pakistanis prospectus fee is Rs: 1000/-

Admission Fee:
Rs.2000/- are charged as admission fee from new entrants of 8th and Ist year classes.

These funds are charged only once on admission.
Building Fund: Rs.10,000/-
Education Fund: Rs.500/-

Applications for admission to Class XI (Direct Entry) against limited available seats at Cadet College Hasan Abdal are invited from January to March every year through advertisement in National Dailies/Social Media. Only those candidates who secure 80% marks or above in Matric/9th Board Examinations are eligible to sit for the Entrance Test for admission to Class XI (Direct Entry). In view of the fact that Board results are mostly delayed, candidates are allowed to sit for the Entry Test. They are, however, supposed to submit their results within 5 days after the declaration of their results.

Candidates are examined in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Maths. After qualifying for the written Entrance Test on the basis of merit, the candidates are called for an Interview and Medical Examination at Cadet College, Hasan Abdal. The interview may also include an assessment of Spoken English, IQ & General Knowledge and IT awareness, etc.

The final selection for admission to Class XI(Direct Entry) is made mainly on the basis of the marks secured by the candidate in the Interview (subject to medical fitness). Whereas the marks of the Matric Board Examination and performance in the written Entrance Test will serve as additional decision-making factors towards acceptance.

The decision of the Principal regarding the selection of a candidate for admission to Class XI (Direct Entry) is final and cannot be challenged.
Admissions are done on the open merit system and no quota is allocated to any region at all.

The entrance Exam Fee for local and overseas candidates is charged as follows:
(i) Cadet College Hasanabdal Rs.7000/- (Non-Refundable)
(ii) Online for Only Overseas Candidates Rs.60,000/- (Non-Refundable)
