Twitter’s Former CEO Parag Agrawal – Wealth & Family Background

Former Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal

Web Desk — Twitter’s former CEO Parag Agrawal is known to be a brave man who performed fearlessly and “despite the noise” coming from Elon Musk, he never put his foot down against the Tesla CEO.

Parag Agrawal, originally from India, continued to do his job to change the platform for the better after taking over the company from Jack Dorsey in November last year. Agarwal, who has now been sacked by Musk, said that he took the job to change Twitter for the better.

Recently, a treasure trove of texts exchanged between Musk and Agrawal was leaked into the public domain.

Musk told Agrawal that he does not want to be a boss, to which Agrawal replied that the Tesla CEO should also treat him like an engineer instead of a CEO.

Parag Agarwal Wealth

According to Business Standard, Twitter’s top executives stand to make a total of $88 million between them. Parag Agrawal alone will get $38.7 million after being ousted by Elon Musk who has finally taken over the micro-blogging platform for $44 billion.

The former CEO, according to Insider, is set to receive the largest payout of $38.7 million, largely due “to the entirety of his shares vesting upon his firing”.

Twitter’s chief financial officer Ned Segal, is set to receive $25.4 million and Vijaya Gadde, the chief legal officer, will be receiving $12.5 million. He is also among the employees fired by Elon Musk. Likewise, Sarah Personette, the chief customer officer, would get $11.2 million.

In order to reorganize Twitter, Musk is expected to cut the workforce by a massive margin. However, he told Twitter employees during his visit to its headquarters that he is not going to lay off 75 percent of the workforce when he takes over.
