Web Desk — Government of Saudi Arabia in an order, shocking millions of Muslims around the world, bans carrying Zamzam water bottles by international passengers.
According to Saudi media authorities at Jeddah International Airport issued a new circular to all private carriers including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
As new orders come into effect, passengers traveling for Umrah or Hajj can carry only one 5-liter bottle of Zamzam water. On the other hand passengers traveling on visit or business visas, tourists, or other purposes will not be allowed to take the blessed holy water to home countries.
Saudi General Aviation Authority, in an official notification, issued the new guidelines restricting non-pilgrims from carrying water.
It must be clear that zamzam water is free of cost and is not for sale. At the same zam zam water is also not provided online.
