Jeff Bezos: History’s richest man

LAHORE: (Web Desk) Amazon chief Jeff Bezos becomes history’s riches man as Pentagon cancells JEDI contract awarded to Microsoft.

The shares value of Amazon incrased with the cancellation of JEDI contrat that increased Bezos’s wealth by $8.4 billion.

With this, Bezos wealth goes up to $211 billion. The electric car maker Elon Musk is at number 2 in the list of world’s riches people. His total wealth is $181 billion.

Pentagon in 2019 had awarded a contract of cloud computing program JEDI to Microsoft in $10 billion.

Jeff Bezos at that time raised his voice against this deal and alleged that Donald Trump had used his influence for Microsoft to get this contract.

President Joe Biden on taking the Oval office cancelled this contract.

Jeff Bezos also owns a rocket company called Blue Origin with a view to taking people to space for living and working.

Giving a shocking surprise to their millions of followers worldwide, Jeff Bezos and Mackenzie Scott divorced in 2019 after more than 25 years.

Bezos and Mackenzie have four children: three sons and a daughter adopted from China.
