How To Improve Smartphones Battery Life? Tips!

smartphone battery life

Web Desk — Smartphones are an integral part of our daily life and we just can not imagine a life without our smartphones. We usually ignore the importance of the battery life of a smartphone though it is very very important.

Excessive use of smartphones weakens their battery health and eventually, we need to charge our phones every other hour. In order to overcome the battery problems here are some tips to give your smartphone battery long life and protect its charging for long periods.

  1. Switch to Airplane Mode
Switch your phone to Airplane mode while traveling or away from home. Doing so will shut off many battery-consuming features and as a result, you get long battery timing.
  2. Close Background Apps
Background applications take up a good chunk of your battery. So, for a healthier and more stable battery, it is recommended to keep the background applications closed.
  3. Turn Off Notifications and Vibration Mode
Smartphones, by going to sleep mode or a lower power mode, save their battery life. If your phone gets continuous unwanted notifications from social apps or gaming apps, it will probably lose a lot of battery.

Besides, we suggest not to put phones in vibratory mode, while it is essential at times, we recommend you try avoiding it as much as possible since vibration requires a lot of battery power.

  1. Keep it Cool!
It is amazing but true that temperature, whether hot or cold, does affect phone functioning. It’s not necessarily the environmental temperature but the phone’s temperature. For example, excess charging heats up the phone, using too many apps together causes the phone’s temperature to rise, etc. So, control such things to avoid suffering from long-lasting damage to our phones.
  2. Limit Location Services
Location services are a blessing but they do have a cost. Apps that use location often have access to your location. This not only affects your privacy but also puts a heavy load on your battery. Kindly, make sure that no app has permission to use your location after it has been closed.
