Pakistani Film Gunjal’s Release Date Announced

Web Desk — Pakistan’s much-anticipated crime thriller “Gunjal” is set to release theatres on December 15, as revealed in a recent Instagram post.

Directed by Shoaib Sultan, produced by Nighat Akbar Shah, and Crafted by Adur Productions, Gunjal is based on true events that follow journalist Shahbaz Bhatti’s journey as he investigates the murder of a child activist Irfan Masih, who bravely fought against child labor in Pakistan during the 1990s.

Gunjal’s official trailer was released on September 30, with the initial release date set for December 8, 2023. The 2-minute long video thrillingly describes the struggle of a real-life investigative journalist Shahbaz Bhatti. Skilled actor Ahmed Ali Akbar portrayed the role of Shahbaz Bhatti who uncovers the truth behind the murder of a child activist Iqbal Masih – a brave man who fearlessly challenged the child labor mafia in 1990s Pakistan.

Adding to the film’s allure, the cast of Gunjal boasts an exceptional lineup of talent.
