Web Desk — Warner Bros announced on Tuesday that Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint of Harry Potter will be reuniting with other cast members from the blockbuster film franchise in a special 20th anniversary TV retrospective.
Harry Potter’s author J K Rowling will not be making a personal appearance on the show.
Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will bring together Robbie Coltrane, who played Hagrid, Tom Felton, Helena Bonham Carter, Gary Oldman, and other actors from the first film on the set of the first Harry Potter film.
This is the first time the cast has returned to where all the magic began. HBO will be streaming #ReturnToHogwarts for Harry Potter’s 20th anniversary on New Year’s Day. An international release is forthcoming.
The HBO MAX streaming platform will broadcast the special on January 1. Warner Bros and HBO are owned by AT&T Inc.
Taking in over $7.8 billion at the global box office, the Harry Potter movie series is based on Rowling’s novels about an orphaned boy who has magical powers.
