Alia Rasheed Becomes PCB Director Media and Communication

Web Desk — Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed senior female sports journalist Alia Rasheed as Director of Media and Communication.

It should be noted that Alia Rashid has been associated with the field of journalism for 35 years and is known as the leading sports journalist of the country. She is known for her outspoken and fair comments. Especially in Pakistan, Alia is considered an expert on cricket and cricket fans give special weight to her comments and analysis.

Alia has been associated with the famous news channel Geo News for the past few years. She is the wife of Geo Director News Rana Jawad and Bhabhi of Sumeen Rana, owner of Lahore Qalandars, the most famous team of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Alia Rashid is the first woman to work as Media Head at PCB. It is expected that she will come across as a better liaison between PCB and journalists and PCB’s media strategy will be better than before.
