Web Desk — The Chinese government says it will encourage Chinese companies to invest in Pakistan to build a corridor of green development, health, and digital economy, to fully implement the China-Pakistan Free Trade Protocol, and to increase agricultural products coming from Pakistan.
During his regular news conference in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin said this while responding to a question.
In his remarks, he said Imran Khan’s visit to China and attendance at the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics continued the fine tradition of mutual support between China and Pakistan.
The spokesperson said the leadership of the two countries held important exchanges and reached a consensus on deepening the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and expanding science, agriculture, and social livelihood cooperation.
